Made it through the day

Eighteen years ago from right now I didn't know I had lost anything. I was happy and naive. Different. Different in a way you can never get back to. Not when you lose a child. There's no going back. You can't unlearn that pain.

Well I have really enjoyed teaching. I am a little nervous about taking my boards.  I don't feel prepared. I still have a couple months.  Me  and the Fam are fixin to go to the beach house for vacation. I need it. I have spent sooo much time teaching that i have not had time to study my own book. I am going to try to read most of my book and spend time with Cat and shop.

avon scams

I am being scammed i am soooooo mad.  Beware of emails that look like this.

First email:  I want to order product

My response:  I'm so glad you contacted me, I would be very happy to help you with your avon order.

How are you doing today, I just want to update you that i had just read from my Financial Clerk that the payment has been issued out to you and you will be receiving it as soon as possible, i will get back to you with the Fedex tracking. I was informed that she sent out the sum of $4,000 to you, I was so mad at her when i heard this because i don't know if my money will be safe when you got it. I want you to send the remaining of the funds via western union after deducting the money for the Avon product to my shipping company the same day you receive the check...I just don't know what to do Because i am totally confused...
Pls may i know if my money will be safe with you when you get the check by you sending the remaining of my money to the shipping company for pickup after you might have cashed the check in your bank and have deducted your amount for the Avon Products??? Pls i will check my email later to read from you because i had an appointment with my doctor first thing tomorrow, I'm not fully alright..

Why in the world would she send me 4,000?!? I am a trustworthy and honest person. I would never take advantage. I hope the check is a cashiers check and not a personal check.. Where am I supposed to ship the products and the money. I don't have any addresses.

Do you have a facebook profile I would love to put a face with the name.

I hope you will not be worried and will be a peace over this. I know that you want the products sent to your sister in the UK but i would love to have your address so I can send you the product and some samples and a brochure. And then you can forward to your sister as I am not allowed to export.

Then I got to think'in.  This does not seem right. Who has 4,000 dollars and a Financial Clerk and doesn't use credit cards?!? So I googled "avon scams" and lo and behold I found almost the exact same situations again and again. I'm sooooo mad. I don't even know how to respond.  Do I call the police when I get the check that I have absolutely no intention of cashing. Or do I mess with the person for a long time. Tempting very tempting.... yep I think that's what I'm gonna do. Screw with them until they get tired of me. Don't mess with a country girl, we can lay on the southern charm and be as vindictive as heck when the time calls for it. I will definitly turn the check over to someone. I'm not keeping it. noway nohow

School

School is always trying on me. About midway through I always lose my mind.  I have absolutely no idea how many hours I have.  When I went for nails it happened at 300 hours and during cosmetology it came a little earlier than midway at 800 and now as a Jr. Instructor I think a nervous breakdown has come even earlier than expected at 200 so maybe I should expect  anotherat 500 because that will actually be half way.

I feel better now. I realized I just gotta be me.  That's all.  That's how I live my life.  No seperation between personal and work. I NEVER  have. If I know you, your my friend. That's just how I work. Trying to be something different is making me nuts.

Progress

Well, I have made alot of progress on the house.  Living room is done kitchen is real close and the bedroom and bathroom are close too. My office is a work in progress.  I have a stress fracture on the outside of my left fooot so that has slowed me down alot.  I really want to get it all done so cat can have a sleepover at the end of the year.

My immediate problem however is getting groceries. I can't imagine hobbleing through the grocery story. It would take forever. And I would be really sore afterwards and I don't think that's what the doctor had in mind when he said stay off it as much as possible.

I feel like a chicken with my head cutoff.  I bounce from room to room and I don't seem to get much done.. this happens when I don't follow the flylady way. One thing I do automactically is dishes and laundry.  I made hashbrown casserole tonight. I'm reading the Cream Puff Murder and it has alot of really good recipes. I think I'm going to copy all the recipes from the Joanne Fluke books and put them in a binder like a cookbook. My fav is the EZ Lasagna.

So, right at this minute half the bathroom is done and half the living room is done. So hopefully  tomorrow it will all be finished....both rooms that is. And then it is on to the office.  That will take at least a week to declutter, organize and make my own.. Have to find my taxes from last year so I can do them this year.  They  will probably be in the last place I look. 

Oh * Snap* I forgot

I have been sooo busy with decluttering my house that I forgot about my blog.  Have you ever heard of the Flylady?  If you haven't I highly recommend checking her out. She helps you to develope routines, which lets face it, is why I was struggleing so much when I quit work 3 1/2 months ago.  I can not believe it has been that long.  I haven't gotten as much done as I wish I would have but I have gradually started incorporating new routines and I am starting to see a difference. My kids even cleaned their rooms without being asked, after seeing that I cleaned mine.  They even got rid of things they could no longer wear or use.  Awesome.

I guess kids really do, do what you do, not what you say.
