I Just checked out my blog front and google has the nerve to put a gross meat ad on the side. Hello Vegetarian, Vegetarian, Vegetarian, Ughh!!!! Apparently they use "keywords" so maybe if I say Vegetarian enough they'll get the hint.
I can't wait for my mom's bday extravaganza. The decorations just came today but i have a bunch more to make. apparently i need to make another triple layer chocolate cake cause there is not gonna be any left for this week end.
soooooo excited. I hope she loves everything!!!!!

Yes, AWESOME BIRTHDAY PARTY!!!! It was sooo fabulous!!! The livingroom and kitchen were gloriously filled with Hawaiian decorations! Walls covered with beach scenes, with hula dancers, a guy twirling firelit clubs (he's really cute:I named him Joe), sea shells, parrots, palm trees, flowers, sand, surf---it was unbelieveable! Yards and yards of brown paper fringe made a great Tiki Bar look over my island counter----so fun! So much work went into this project! And I loved it all! The tropical drinks were delicious too! Chicken kbobs with pinapple and mushrooms, pulled pork, rice for dinner, followed by a yummy coconut cake! How blessed I am to have kids who would throw me this amazing party? Pretty darned blessed. And as if that wasn't enough, they gave me a computer!!! I was overwhelmed---I feel overwhelmed right now, just remembering it all. Thank you my dear children, especially my daughter who worked her fingers to the bone for weeks!! If I never have another birthday party, it won't matter, because I have had the birthday party of a lifetime!!!!! God bless you---no mother ever felt as blessed as I do. Well, maybe Jesus' mom, Mary.
